Twinsets: Not a going to church outfit anymore…….
When I think of twinsets, I think of the olden days, the
Cashmere Wool, and the mad-men drama series. Whether it is attending mass on a
Sunday or going to casual office day, twinsets are famous for bringing
conservative to our appearance.
They were first seen by brands such as Pringles of Scotland in the 1940-50’s and then stars began to make them trendy. Grace Kelly to Audrey Hepburn turned the twins to wardrobe pins.
Modern age designers have given a whole new makeover to the
concept. You may see a tube top with a vest with different colors and still
consider them as a twin set. They were first seen by brands such as Pringles of Scotland in the 1940-50’s and then stars began to make them trendy. Grace Kelly to Audrey Hepburn turned the twins to wardrobe pins.

To be honest I liked them more back then. Something’s are
better left the way they were. I wished designers kept the concept going but maybe
added creative touches. Mary katrantzou is a designer that I would like to see
make twinsets with her funky prints.

Twinsets can be worn with elegance and still be very fashion
forward just like Blair Waldorf in gossip girl.
